On Wednesday, Apple launched its first foldable phone called the iPhone Duo, thereby entering a segment dominated by Samsung and Google.
iPhone Duo uses Liquid Glass design and runs iOS 27 out of the box.
iPhone Duo has a 5.4-inch display with Touch ID on the side and speakers on the top and bottom. It uses grade 5 titanium for durability, along with a ceramic screen on the back and a ceramic screen 2 on the front. It supports tent mode and two apps side by side. iPhone Duo features a 7.6-inch OLED main display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
The iPhone Duo promises 31 hours of battery life on the main display and 44 hours on the cover. It also supports fast charging.
iPhone Duo also runs on the A20 Pro processor with storage starting at 256GB. It has a 48MP main camera and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It uses a 12MP front camera on the lid and an under-display FaceTime camera on the main screen.
iPhone Duo is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
The iPhone Duo comes in Star White and Night Sky colors and is priced at $1,999. In India it costs ₹2,99,900.
