India vs Pakistan, Women’s Asia Cup 2026: Harmanpreet Kaur finishes with six in style as India beats Pakistan by 7 wickets


India Women vs Pakistan Women: India produced a dominant all-round performance to beat Pakistan by seven wickets in the Group A match of the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup in Dubai on Saturday.
Pakistan, after opting to bat, were bowled out for just 55 in 18.1 overs, their lowest ever in a T20I. The Indian spinners completely dismantled the Pakistan batting lineup with Sri Charani and Prema Rawat taking three wickets each and Deepti Sharma two. Shawaal Zulfiqar scored 14 runs as Pakistan lost six wickets for just 15 runs at one stage.

India made light work of the 56-run target, reaching 57/3 in just 8.4 overs with 68 balls to spare. Shafali Verma got off to a strong start with 12 off six balls and became the youngest player to score 3000 runs in a women’s T20I before being dismissed by Fatima Sana. Sana took all three Indian wickets but Harmanpreet Kaur remained unbeaten in the 18th minute and guided India home in style to seal victory by six.

The win helped India finish top of Group A with three wins from three matches.
