- Logitech Unveils $99 MX Keypad Accessory
- Located next to the keyboard, it offers nine customizable keys to access AI tools and agents.
- Users can even create and share their own integrations.
Logitech has released a new $99 accessory that it says will help coders and programmers work faster and more efficiently than ever before.
The new MX keyboard offers nine customizable full-color LCD keys that can be assigned to launch commands, run macros, and access AI tools.
It’s also very compact, about the same width as a Logitech mouse, and weighs just 96 grams, meaning it will sit next to a user’s keyboard without taking up too much desk space.

Faster and more efficient access
Logitech says the MX keyboard, developed in conjunction with GitHub and available in two color schemes, will act as a control center for users, aiming to reduce switching between apps, although customization options can also be used for apps that don’t require coding.
Any of the nine keys can be configured to control one or more applications and agents, from launching complex tooltip macros to running everyday commands, with native GitHub, VS Code and Copilot integration at startup.
Using the Logi Actions SDK, developers can even create and publish their own integrations, with community-built plugins already available for tools like Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, as well as plugins created and tested by developers for GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.
The MX keyboard connects using USB-C and requires macOS 13 or later or Windows 10 or later. As is typical with Logitech devices, sustainability is also a key feature, with the MX Keypad using certified recycled plastic, 64% graphite, and 49% pale gray.
“Today, programming mastery depends on how easily developers can switch between an ever-growing set of artificial intelligence tools,” said Anatoly Polyanker, vice president and general manager of Logitech. “MX Keypad gives you a physical control center, allowing you to orchestrate AI workflows faster and more intuitively.”
The MX Keypad is a more streamlined version of Logitech’s existing MX Creative Console, which features an LCD keyboard with a separate dialpad for adjusting settings and navigating your favorite creative apps, but costs $199.99.
