Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay made a memorable appearance at Silverstone on Saturday as Ajith Kumar competed in the final round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup. Vijay was present at the event to support Ajith Kumar and waved the green flag to officially start the race.Vijay greeted Ajith Kumar on the track before the race. Actor Trisha Krishnan was also present at the film’s shoot in London.

Later, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu stood at the track and waved the green flag as the race began.A video from the meeting shows Vijay meeting Ajith Kumar before the competition. The two stars were seen exchanging greetings while Vijay also posed for pictures and noted the attention surrounding his appearance. In another video, Vijay is seen wishing Ajith Kumar before his race trip.

Trisha Krishnan was also spotted at Silverstone over the weekend. The actor is currently in London shooting for a film and was present on the track during the race, India Today reported.In a video from the venue, Trisha Krishnan can be seen walking past security wearing a white top, blue jeans and a brown jacket.The Silverstone round was the fifth round of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup. Ajith Kumar continued to pursue motorsports alongside his acting career and represented his team on the UK circuit.Ajith Kumar was also seen interacting with fans near his car. In one video, he pointed to the crowd and asked them not to shout as he got out of his car.

Meanwhile, Radhika Sarathkumar shared a selfie with Trisha Krishnan during their meeting in London. Ajith Kumar’s racing team, Ajith RedAnt by Virage, faced a difficult race at Silverstone. According to Sportstar, the team finished 38th overall after completing the two-hour Michelin Le Mans Cup race. Car No. 16 was driven by Ajith Kumar and French driver Romain Wozniak. After a difficult battle, the pair finished three laps behind the overall winner.The team entered the race with a stronger starting position. Earlier on Saturday, Ajith Kumar and Romain Wozniak qualified eighth in the LMP3 Pro/Am category.However, the qualifying result did not lead to points. Virage’s Ajith RedAnt was unable to maintain his position during the main race and ultimately finished the event without points.
