2026 Ice Hockey World Cup schedule The announcement was made by the International Ice Hockey Federation (FIH) in Lausanne, Switzerland on Wednesday.
there will be two separate Ice Hockey World Championship tournaments, one for men, the other for women. Both events will be held jointly with Belgium and the Netherlands from 15 to 30 August.
16 for each tournament hockey The teams were divided into four groups of four teams each. Each team will play each other once in the group stage.
The top two teams from each group advance to the second stage, forming two new groups. They carry over points earned against other qualified teams.
They will then play two more matches against new opponents before the top two teams from each second round group advance to the semi-finals.
Classification matches will be played to determine the final ranking of all teams.
