The proposed development will transform Redbridge Paddock, a council-owned site opposite Redbridge Park and Ride, into a waterfront community with a mix of housing and public spaces.
OX Place, Oxford City Council’s housing company, will unveil the updated plans at a public exhibition at St Luke’s Church, Canning Crescent on Wednesday 23 September and Thursday 24 September from 4pm to 8pm.
Councilor Linda Smith, Housing Member for Oxford City Council, said: “Redbridge is an important opportunity to transform a former landfill site into a new, sustainable community, while providing much-needed homes for the people of Oxford.
“We want local people to have the opportunity to see how plans have developed since the first exhibition and tell us what they think.
“I would encourage anyone interested in the future of this site to come and view the proposals and have your say.”
The proposed scheme includes a range of homes, from one-bedroom apartments to five-bedroom houses, with housing options available for both social rent and shared ownership.
More than 30 per cent of the 11-acre site will be dedicated to public open space, including landscaped areas, public areas, informal recreation areas and an associated cycle route.
Public feedback will help shape the final plans before an outline planning application is submitted in 2026.
The deadline for comments is 6pm on Sunday 11 October.
