A later statement added: “At 4am this morning (Thursday 10 September) five fire engines from Stalybridge, Ashton, Hollins, Mossley and Hyde stations and one aircraft responded to a house fire in Park Road, Dukinfield.
“Crews wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and remain at the scene. One person was taken to hospital by North Western Ambulance Service.”
