Another was arrested for alleged threatening and abusive behavior/resisting arrest, and the final man was arrested for an alleged breach of the peace.
Police also issued a caution for drug offenses and the young man was reported for an Section 38 offence.
Although the game went ahead without a “serious incident”, police chiefs condemned the behavior of those arrested and said it was “never acceptable and will not be tolerated”.

Chief Superintendent Stevie Dolan said: “A proportionate policing plan has been put in place for the Rangers v Celtic match at Ibrox on Sunday 13 September 2026.”
“We have worked closely with a number of partners, including both clubs, to ensure public safety and minimize any disruption.
“The match proceeded without major incident and I would like to thank the majority of the fans for their behavior throughout the day.
“A small number of offenses were identified during the event, including one incident of police assault and a separate incident of religiously motivated violence.
“Behavior like this is never acceptable and will not be tolerated. In both cases people were arrested and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
On the pitch, we reported that in the second half, with Rangers leading 3-0, players from both teams got into a heated altercation on the far side of the pitch.
Olwethu Mahaina tackled Haissem Hassan to the ground before James Penrice kicked the ball which hit Hassan, who was lying on the ground.
The Celtic winger jumped to his feet to confront Penrice, suggesting the ball had been struck at him after he fell to the ground.
Within seconds, players from both sides were ramming the field, with Colby Donovan and Nico Raskin engaged in a shouting match.
Nick Walsh warned Hassan and Penrice about the flashpoint.
