Madhya Pradesh received investment proposals worth over ₹53,000 crore in green energy, urban development, healthcare, education and other sectors during Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s three-day visit to the UAE, officials said on Wednesday.
Addressing investors during the visit that ended on Tuesday, Yadav said that just like the people of Dubai have turned potential into global achievements through their hard work, Madhya Pradesh is also ready to turn potential into opportunities and achievements.
He noted that Madhya Pradesh is one of the major growth engines of India today with an economic growth rate of over 11 percent.
Yadav elaborated on the opportunities available in agriculture and food processing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automobiles, advanced manufacturing, green energy, information technology, artificial intelligence, data centers, electronics and tourism.
He highlighted the state’s vast land bank, robust road and rail networks, eight operational airports, investment-friendly policies and a single window system.
On the third and final day of his visit to Dubai on Tuesday, the Chief Minister participated in several programs related to investment promotion, industrial partnerships, urban development, green energy, logistics, health, education, technology and sustainable development.
The visit ended with the state receiving investment proposals worth over ₹53,000 crore, the official said.
Yadav held a meeting with Chairman and Managing Director of Rana Holdings Limited Dr. Darshan Singh Rana to discuss the potential of large-scale investments in green hydrogen, solar power, data centers, smart manufacturing and other MP sectors.
The company has expressed interest in setting up a 2,000 MW solar power portfolio, a 200 MW green hydrogen production plant, a 50 MW artificial intelligence and computing data center (expandable to 200 MW), a 30,000 mtpa critical minerals recovery and processing complex, and an integrated smart manufacturing center in the state, the official said.
These proposed projects have the potential to attract investments of around ₹35,200 crore. This will significantly transform the energy transition, advanced manufacturing and digital infrastructure of Madhya Pradesh, he said.
The Chief Minister also discussed the plan with another company, which has submitted a concept for an investment of around ₹18,000 crore in a 50-megawatt artificial intelligence plant project, which could be expanded to over 100 megawatt in the future, the official said.
The one-on-one conversation with GEMS Education Chairman Sunny Varkey discussed setting up K-12 schools, teacher training and future-oriented education campuses as per international standards, the official said.
He also discussed investment opportunities in multi-specialty hospitals, digital health, telemedicine, medical and nursing education and public health with Pure Health representatives.

Yadav also extended a formal invitation to all investors to attend the Global Investor Summit (GIS-2027) to be held in Bhopal in January 2027. “Madhya Pradesh is the heart of India and will welcome investors with open arms,” he said.
