At the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s Antilia, several Bollywood stars arrived in traditional attire to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. While Ranveer Singh arrived alone, several celebrity couples, including Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, appeared together.
Bollywood stars arrive for Antilia celebrations in honor of Ganesh Chaturthi
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan chose a bright red and yellow combination for the occasion. The couple arrived with their sons, who also wore traditional blue and white outfits. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt posed hand in hand for the paparazzi as they arrived at the Ganpati celebrations. Ranbir looked dashing in a purple kurta paired with a matching embroidered jacket, while Alia exuded elegance in a shimmering blue saree.
Katrina Kaif was seen hugging her new mother in a green anarkali suit while Vicky Kaushal paired it with a classic white kurta pajama. Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra also posed together for the paparazzi. Kiara opted for a pink saree while Sidharth looked dapper in a floral kurta pajama.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh arrived alone for the celebration. He looked dapper in a white traditional ensemble with a Nehru jacket over a long kurta and matching trousers. Deepika Padukone, who is pregnant with the couple’s second child, seems to have missed out on the celebrations this time. Ranveer was also seen chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya” before leaving the red carpet to receive Lord Ganesha’s blessings. Salman Khan was also seen seeking blessings in Antilia after attending his brother Sohail Khan’s Ganapati celebrations.
Apart from them, Kajol was seen with her children. While the actor looked stunning in a red saree, Nysa looked dapper in a pink cowl-neck suit and Yug wore a kurta pajama. Genelia Deshmukh-Riteish Deshmukh, Madhuri Dixit-Dr. Sriram Nene, Kriti Sanon, Karan Johar, Rekha and Khushi Kapoor, among others, were also spotted at Antilia’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
About the celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi in Antilia
The Ambani family welcomed Ganpati Bappa to their Mumbai home with dancing and joy, a day before Ganesh Chaturthi. The big and beautiful idol of Bappa was taken to Antilia where Nita Ambani, Anant Ambani and Radhika Ambani welcomed it with rituals and festive celebrations. When Ganpati Bappa arrived, the house was illuminated and decorated with lights and flowers. As the idol was brought in, chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” were heard.
Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10-day Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. The celebrations traditionally begin with the installation of Ganesh idol in homes and public pandals.
