Xiaomi on Tuesday expanded its Note 17 series by launching the Pro variants: Redmi Note 17 Pro Max and Redmi Note 17 Pro in India. The phones belong to the premium segment.
Both the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max and Redmi Note 17 Pro feature a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness. Note 17 Pro Max supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
They are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, equipped with two stereo speakers and are rated IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max comes with a 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and a 100W charger inside the box. It also supports 27W reverse wired charging. The Note 17 Pro has a 9,000mAh battery, a 67W charger, and support for 22.5W wired charging.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max uses Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB internal storage. The Redmi Note 17 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
They run HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box and will receive 4 years of OS and 6 years of security updates.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max has a 50 MP main camera with optical stabilization and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, there is a 32 MP front camera. The Redmi Note 17 Pro also features a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, along with a 16MP front camera.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max starts at ₹49,999 for the 8GB/256GB storage variant, while the 12GB/256GB storage model costs ₹55,999. The Redmi Note 17 Pro starts at ₹36,999 for the 8GB/128GB device and ₹39,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant.
Redmi Note 17 Pro will go on sale from September 17, sales of Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will begin on September 23. They will be available at Mi, Amazon and Xiaomi retailers.
