Hanuman Ansh crosses Rs 300 crore threshold
Made on a reported budget of just Rs 2 crore, Hanuman Ansh is unrivaled at the box office. The film, based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, has now crossed the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide. The director’s price of Vishal Chaturvedi was launched at just Rs 10 lakh, but after three weeks of great word of mouth, there was a sharp turnaround. It has since become the biggest surprise of the year and continues its extraordinary theatrical performance into its sixth week. The religious drama directed by Shobinau Satya was released in India on September 7 and released worldwide on September 11.
Hanuman Ansh crosses the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide
Hanuman Ansh continued its impressive performance at the box office on its 41st day, collecting Rs 6 million in India. The film’s total net collection in India now stands at Rs 237.13 crore and its Indian gross has reached Rs 280 crore. The Neem Karoli Baba biopic also maintained its popularity overseas, earning Rs 1.75 crore in 41 days, taking its overseas collection to Rs 20.25 crore. With this, Hanuman Ansh has now crossed the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide and its global gross has reached Rs 300.25 crore.

Hanuman Ansh is about a grieving young Lakshmi Narayan who, after the death of his mother, embarks on a spiritual journey in search of God. Traveling across Northern India in search of answers to questions of life, death and human suffering, he eventually becomes the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba, whose teachings on love, service and compassion have touched countless lives.

Neem Karoli Baba’s legacy is also associated with several eminent international and Indian personalities. In 1974, Steve Jobs reportedly traveled to India in search of him, and Mark Zuckerberg later visited Kainchi Dham, an ashram closely associated with the spiritual leader, after Jobs advised him to do so during a difficult period. In India, Neem Karoli Baba’s most famous devotees are power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, who also visited Kainchi Dham.
