Full house Actress Lori Loughlin has filed for divorce from her ex-husband Mosimo Giannulli, almost a year after she confirmed their split.
Loughlin filed for divorce from the fashion designer on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by People, Entertainment Weekly and E! News.
Global News has not independently reviewed the court documents.
According to People, the 62-year-old actor gave the couple’s separation date as August 31, 2025 and confirmed that they signed a prenuptial agreement when they married in 1997.
In October, Loughlin’s representative, Elizabeth Much, announced that the couple were “living separately and taking a break from their marriage.”

Loughlin and Giannulli married in 1997 and share daughters Bella Rose Giannulli, 27, and Olivia Jade Giannulli, 26.
The divorce comes six years after the couple pleaded guilty and served prison sentences for paying half a million dollars to get both of their children into university during the 2020 Varsity Blues college admissions scandal.
In May 2020, Loughlin and Giannulli agreed to serve prison sentences as part of a plea deal in a college admissions bribery case. Giannulli agreed to serve five months as part of the agreement, while Loughlin agreed to a two-month sentence.
Loughlin and Giannulli were scheduled to go on trial in October 2020 on charges that they paid $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters into the University of Southern California (USC) as team recruits, even though neither of them competed in the sport.
They maintained their innocence and said they considered their payments to be legitimate donations.
The judge rejected their bid to dismiss the case due to allegations of misconduct by FBI agents investigating the fraud.
Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud in a plea agreement filed in federal court in Boston.
Prosecutors agreed to drop charges of money laundering and federal bribery that were added after the case was filed.
“I made a terrible decision and agreed to a plan to give my daughters an unfair advantage in college,” Loughlin said at her sentencing in August 2020, wiping away tears as she read a statement.
“I thought I was acting out of love for my children, but in reality it only undermined and diminished my daughters’ abilities and achievements.”
“I take full responsibility for my conduct,” Giannulli said at the time. “I am ready to accept the consequences and move forward with the lessons I learned from this experience.”
Loughlin and Giannulli are among dozens of wealthy parents charged with participating in schemes orchestrated by college admissions consultant William “Rick” Singer to bribe coaches and university insiders or cheat on admissions tests. The cases were tried in federal court in Boston.
Others who have pleaded guilty in the case include: Desperate Housewives actress Felicity Huffman. In October 2019, she served nearly two weeks in jail after admitting she paid $15,000 to have someone correct her daughter’s entrance exam answers.
