Priyanka Chopra Jonas talks to the BBC about her new film Cycle of Love.
Chopra Jonas, the film’s executive producer, said she was immediately drawn to the story when she first heard it.
The film is based on the true story of Indian artist P.K. Mahanandia, who cycled 6,000 miles from India to Europe to be reunited with the Swedish woman he loved. The film, which chronicles Mahanandia’s journey, also explores the caste discrimination he faced in India.
BBC culture correspondent Noor Nanji spoke to Chopra Jonas and the film’s director Orlando von Einsiedel ahead of its New York premiere.
