HCLTech has launched a state-of-the-art semiconductor laboratory in Bengaluru with an investment of Rs 185 crore.
The 40,000 square foot laboratory provides comprehensive post-silicon design, advanced testing and failure analysis. The facility is equipped with the latest tools from Teradyne, Advantest, Keysight, Tektronix and Thermo Fisher Scientific that support research and development, pre-production preparation and manufacturing qualification, resulting in faster turnaround times, superior quality and reduced complexity for customers around the world.
Consistent with HCLTech’s Spec2Parts business model, the lab provides a single platform for electrical inspection, automated testing, qualification and failure analysis, streamlining the path from design specifications to finished semiconductor parts.
“This facility reflects our deep commitment to investing in high-tech engineering capabilities,” said Hari Sadarahalli, corporate vice president and global head of engineering and R&D at HCLTech.
Serving both domestic and international markets, the laboratory is a cornerstone of HCLTech’s global strategy to provide innovative, high-quality semiconductor solutions and strengthen India’s leadership in the sector.
