Kangana EXCLUSIVE: Actress Reveals How Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata Changed Her View of Healthcare Workers: ‘A Deeper Sense of Gratitude’ | Bollywood life

Kangana Ranaut reveals how ‘Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata’ changed the way she views doctors and nurses, calling their courage and emotional strength deeply inspiring.

Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut’s recent film Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata is now streaming exclusively on Zee5. In a recent conversation with BollywoodLife.com, Kangana revealed how the film has changed the way she views hospitals and healthcare workers. She also talked about how she prepared for her role in the film.

When asked if working on Bharat Bhagya Viddhaata has changed the way she looks at hospitals and healthcare workers in your daily life, Kangana said, “Before this film, like most people, I think I took a lot of what healthcare workers do for granted. We go to the hospital, see the doctor or nurse, and think of it as part of our normal routine. But when you understand what these people can be asked to do in a crisis situation, your perspective changes completely.”

She continued: “A hospital is supposed to be a place where people come to feel safe, and during the 26/11 attacks, even that feeling of safety was taken away. However, doctors, nurses and hospital staff continued to care for patients. Now when I see a nurse or doctor, I have a much deeper sense of gratitude. You understand that their work requires not only professional skills, but also an incredible amount of emotional strength.”

Kangana was also asked about how she prepared for the role of a healthcare professional and whether she met or spoke with any such professionals whose stories changed her perspective on what courage is. To this, the actress said: “Listening to the experiences of medical professionals was very important because it takes the story away from the idea of an ordinary hero. These people were not trained soldiers; these were nurses, doctors and hospital staff who found themselves in a horrific situation and still decided to protect their patients. These stories in particular stayed with me because of how instinctively they responded. Nurses were responsible for pregnant and extremely vulnerable women, and instead of thinking about their own safety, they thought about their patients. made me realize that courage is often a decision you make in the moment when you don’t have the chance to think too much. You just see someone who needs help and you step forward.”
