Hyderabad, Aug 22 (IANS) Tollywood heartthrob Ram Charan wrote a sweet birthday message to his father, megastar Chiranjeevi, as he turned a year older on Saturday.
The ‘RRR’ actor took to his official handle on X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a heartfelt post calling Chiranjeevi his “first hero and the person he could turn to.”
Ram Charam added that Chiranjeevi’s faith in him has always been his greatest strength.
The ‘Peddy’ actor shared on his microblog, “Happy Birthday Grandma @KChiruTweets. You were my first hero, my biggest inspiration and someone I can always turn to. Through all the ups and downs, your love, guidance and belief in me have been my greatest strength. I feel truly blessed to have you in my life. Wishing you good health, happiness and many more wonderful years ahead. Love you more than words can express, Grandma (sic).”
Additionally, actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Chiranjeevi’s younger brother Pawan Kalyan wished him to take a trip down memory lane and recall some fond memories from his childhood.
Pawan Kalyan said that his elder brother has always been a hero for him, even before he became an on-screen hero.
He wrote, “During my school days, just walking next to him was a moment of pride. I used to feel like I was walking with the most important person in the world; by then he was just in college. When he rode my father’s bike (Bullet – 350cc) with his curly long hair, matching NCC Cadet body, bell bottoms and glasses – oh! It was a moment of absolute fanaticism and hero worship,” said Pawan Kalyan and added, “My Anna has always been a Hero to me, even before he became a Hero.”
Talking about the incident, Pawan Kalyan added, “In the early days of his film career, he brought back a big blue bag from his first trip to Singapore. In that blue bag, I found my first tiny Lego helicopter, some remote control cars, a race track, some comic books, music cassettes, a tape recorder, Yardley Co. scented powders, soaps, some perfumes and other small gifts for others. He always brought joy and smiles to our little home.”
