Samsung was on one of them.
When Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo last week, Samsung couldn’t help but steal the show with a passport-style folding phone, as it recently launched the Galaxy Z Fold 8 with a somewhat similar design. However, this perhaps went too far.
This video features a guy from New Zealand named Tim Cook, dressed and looking like Tim Cook, holding a Z Fold 8 and pretending to be giving a keynote. Tim Cook was the previous CEO of Apple and handed over the reins to John Ternus on September 1st.
Either way, this is crazy marketing. Especially considering the rumors about the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra, which looks like a cross between an iPhone and some kind of Xiaomi device. But these are just rumors, so take them with a grain of salt.
However, I think Samsung is doing too much with these digs at Apple and the iPhone Duo. But what do you think? Let us know below.
