Singer Sonu Nigam has sold a commercial property in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) for Rs 18 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. The singer sold a commercial premises with an area of 3082 square meters. ft., almost three years after purchasing it for Rs 14.30 crore in November 2023.Sonu Nigam’s latest property sale joins the growing list of high-value commercial real estate transactions in BKC Mumbai, one of the city’s most sought-after business and financial districts.According to property registration documents, Sonu Nigam sold the commercial premises on September 4, 2026. SAA Estate LLC is listed as the buyer and Sonu Nigam is listed as the seller in the registered transaction.The property is located on the ground floor of a shopping mall, opposite MTNL building in BKC, Bandra East, Mumbai. Commercial premises with an area of 3082 sq. ft. was sold for Rs 18 crore.The deal also included payment of stamp duty of Rs 1.08 crore. Two parking spaces were included in the deal, documents show.
Sonu Nigam earns around Rs 3.70 crore from BKC properties
Sonu Nigam purchased the same commercial property for Rs 14.30 crore in November 2023. Considering that the last sale was recorded at Rs 18 crore, the singer made a gross profit from the property of around Rs 3.70 crore, excluding transaction costs, taxes and other expenses.Based on the recorded carpet area and consideration value, the latest transaction was approximately Rs 58,404 per square foot.
Kailash Kher also sold office space to BKC.
Interestingly, Sonu Nigam is not the only Bollywood or music personality who has recently sold a commercial property in the same building. Singer Kailash Kher also sold his office space in this building on September 9, 2026 for Rs 10.50 crore.Kher purchased the property for Rs 10.50 crore in November 2025. Unlike Sonu Nigam’s deal, Kailash Kher’s deal was reportedly done at the same consideration price at which he purchased the office space.
Sonu Nigam bought an office in Andheri West
Interestingly, Sonu Nigam also made another investment in commercial real estate in Mumbai just a month before the BKC deal. According to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the Bollywood singer purchased an office space measuring 258.33 square meters in August 2026. ft. in Andheri West area of Mumbai for Rs 1 crore.The deal was registered on August 6, 2026, with Singular Health Private Limited listed as the seller and Sonu Agamkumar Nigam, the singer’s full name, recorded as the buyer.The office block is located in Sundervan Complex on Lokhandwala Road, Andheri West and has an area of 258.33 sq. m. ft. Nigam paid a total amount of Rs 1 crore for the commercial property.Apart from the purchase price, the deal attracted a stamp duty of Rs 6 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000. The total disclosed value of the transaction, including stamp duty and registration, was Rs 1,063 crore.Based on the consideration price, the Andheri West office deal is approximately Rs 38,710 per square foot of carpet.
