Whole-home Wi-Fi 7 can be an expensive upgrade, but when Amazon launched its Early Prime Day deals, I spotted the TP-Link Deco 7 Pro BE10000 three-piece whole-home mesh system.
• Best for: For those who need fast Wi-Fi 7 coverage throughout the home for a larger facility with enough bandwidth for connected devices and a wired network.
• Deal: The TP-Link Deco 7 Pro mesh system costs $397 on Amazon (was $470).
• Why is this important: You get three Deco BE63 units covering up to 7600 sq. ft. and supports over 200 devices. Each device has four 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN ports with tri-band Wi-Fi 7, AI roaming, HomeShield, VPN support and wired backhaul.
• Trick: A stated data transfer rate of 10 Gbps does not mean that every Ethernet port operates at 10 Gbps. The four WAN/LAN ports on each device have a claimed throughput of 2.5 Gbps.
Why we recommend it
The Deco 7 Pro is designed to spread a single Wi-Fi network throughout a large home or home office, rather than relying on one centrally located router. Its three frequency bands offer claimed speeds of up to 5188 Mbps on 6 GHz, 4324 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz.
AI roaming helps keep devices connected as you move around the house, and wired and wireless backhaul can work together between Deco devices. HomeShield, support for VPN clients and servers, QoS, guest mode, and WPA3 security provide additional network features.
Price context and historical value
Amazon has cut the price of the TP-Link Deco 7 Pro Triple from $469.99 to $396.50 in its Early Prime Day sale, saving you $73.49. The package includes three Deco BE63 units, three power adapters, an RJ45 Ethernet cable and a quick installation guide. However, the current price is not as low as we have seen. In October 2025, it sold for $229.99.
Is it worth buying?
✅ Buy Deco 7 Pro If…
You have a large home with spotty Wi-Fi coverage, a lot of connected devices, or want to upgrade to Wi-Fi 7. It’s also a good choice if you need the flexibility of both wired and wireless backhaul.
❌ Skip Deco 7 Pro If…
You live in a small home where one router already provides reliable coverage, or you’re happy with your existing Wi-Fi setup. In this case, the three-block mesh system may be larger than you need.
The catch: what you need to know before buying
The advertised 10Gbps data transfer speed should not be confused with the speed of a standalone Ethernet port. Each Deco device has four ports with a stated LAN throughput of 2.5 Gbps.
Actual wireless speed will also vary depending on conditions, distance and obstacles such as walls. You’ll also need compatible hardware to get the most out of Wi-Fi 7, and most ISPs will require a separate modem.
